My career began designing stage sets in New York City and around the country. At the same time, I continued my education after graduate school, attending life drawing classes at the Art Students League in NYC. My career path has led me to publishing (books, magazines and catalogs), toy industry (store and showroom design), and now back to art. Drawing and creating has always been a lifelong passion, with an emphasis on figurative work. I work primarily in pastel, charcoal, graphite and pen and ink, selecting subjects that are topical, looking for a narrative thread to bring them to life.
